Mermaid Linocut Print - Green

A fair (mer)maiden. A shining beacon in the depths. She waits for you, ready to guide you home.

All of these are green on green prints, on A4 paper. They are signed and dated with the year.

The 4th photo shows off the slight difference between the ‘standard’ print, and the ‘brighter green’ one, and the final photo is of the ‘salty’ print.

The first two photos are better representations of how saturated the paper colour is in person. I’d describe it as a mossy green, so it’s a little darker than those photos show. I’ve done my best to portray the colours, but they might be a different in person!

All of my linocuts are printed by hand, and the nature of handmade items means that there may be very minor variations between each print. I think it’s part of the charm! If there are several of a print available, the one you get may not be the exact piece from the photos, but rest assured that the one you receive is made and packed with equal love and care.

What does ‘salty’ mean?
It’s just a way to refer to areas of ink on a design haven’t printed solidly, and have that speckled look.
