Mermaid Linocut Print - Assorted Colours
A fair (mer)maiden. A shining beacon in the depths. She waits for you, ready to guide you home.
These are all printed on A4 paper, and are signed and dated with the year.
The ‘salty’ print, green on off-white, green on cream, and solid black are all printed on a slightly translucent Japanese paper. The green on blue is on thicker 120gsm paper.
This design has been printed in a range of papers and colours. I’ve done my best to accurately represent the colour of the different papers, but they may look slightly different in person than they do on your screen.
You’ll also find more than one listing for this print in order to cover the range, so if you don’t see the one you’re after here, have a quick look at another listing!
All of my linocuts are printed by hand, and the nature of handmade items means that there may be very minor variations between each print. I think it’s part of the charm! If there are several of a print available, the one you get may not be the exact piece from the photos, but rest assured that the one you receive is made and packed with equal love and care.
What does ‘salty’ mean?
It’s just a way to refer to areas of ink on a design haven’t printed solidly, and have that speckled look.
