Chrysanthemums For Condolences Linocut Print

Sometimes the animals in your life leave one hell of an impression on your heart.
In some places, chrysanthemums are used at funerals and are associated with grief. They also happen to be my birth flower, and my beloved cats birth flower.
After she passed away, I put together this little design with a cat skull and chrysanthemum leaf, and thought that maybe it would speak to some one else like it did to me.

This design is printed on an off-white Japanese paper, and is 150mm x 170mm.

This is an open edition print, and may become available in a variety of colourways.

All of my linocuts are printed by hand, and the nature of handmade items means that there may be very minor variations between each print. I think it’s part of the charm! If there are several of a print available, the one you get may not be the exact piece from the photos, but rest assured that the one you receive is made and packed with equal love and care.
